Genius!! Who needs to recharge batteries by plugging something into a wall when the sun will do it for free?

I love this idea!! Batteries equipped with small, flexible PVC so when the charge is dead you let Mother Nature replace the power previously stored inside.

I guess it’s not very efficient yet, Knut and his SunCats definately fall into the ‘bright idea’ category.

Bright idea… get it? Bright… never mind.

Granted solar power was first used in space to power orbiting space craft for indefinate missions, but could the future of PVC be space-based?

Wouldn’t it be great if one day we never needed to “re-charge” anything? Just think of it: no staring at a blinking battery symbol on your phone before making an important call, the incessant chirping signaling shut down.

Well, LG — and before that Samsung — are working to end that with phones recharged by the sun.

No more adapters, no more “can I borrow your USB port?” Just stick your phone in a window sill and relax.
